Caravan World celebrated the silly season enjoying a cruise along the canals aboard Mooloolaba Cruises. We all dined on a srumptious seafood buffet and then everyone got into the party mode.

Rocky Creek Memorial Park

One of our loyal customers mentioned a great camping spot along the Kennedy Highway north of Tolga and I thought I would share it with all of you. Rocky Creek was the site of the largest military hospital in the Southern hemisphere – a 3000 bed hospital which treated over 60,000 patients from 1943 to 1945.

Entry to the park is free and camp sites are avaiable for a gold coin donation. For more information visit info@trc.qld.gov.au.

Make sure you put it on your list of places to visit next time you are in the beautiful tablelands region.

1st Attempt at Red Clawing – Boondooma Dam
